The IoT Toolkit app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
- No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No Accounts: The app does not require or support user accounts or registration.
- No Analytics: We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or tracking technologies.
- No Ads: The app contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs.
- No Network Access: The release version of the app does not access the internet.
Local Data Storage
All data you create within the app is stored locally on your device only:
- Command Templates: Custom command sequences you create for device configuration.
- Favorites: Command favorites for quick access.
- Batch Task Configurations: Multi-device batch operation setups.
This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear the app's storage.
Device Permissions
The app requests the following permissions for the stated purposes:
Bluetooth
- Purpose: To scan for nearby Tuple IoT BLE devices and connect to them for sending configuration commands and receiving responses.
- Data accessed: Device names, Bluetooth addresses, BLE service/characteristic data. None of this information is stored or transmitted.
Location
- Purpose: Android requires location permission for Bluetooth Low Energy scanning on Android 11 and below. This is a platform requirement, not an app feature.
- Data accessed: Approximate and precise location is technically accessible to the Android system during BLE scanning but is never read, collected, stored, or shared by our app.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs in its release build. It uses only open-source Flutter framework components and plugins.Changes to This Privacy Policy
